I'm already feeling a little scared about finishing this book. I chose the book based on a little bit of info alone (Nebula award, 1899, golem, jinni), and it's been just a perfect read from the first coupla pages. Chava is a golem, a creature made of clay, brought to l. There are so many colorful characters, they're all instantly identifiable. Read 14,235 reviews from the worlds largest community for readers. It's detailed, nuanced, but it never reads NOT slowly. There are …more I'm barely 100 pages into it, and I'm LOOOOOOOOOOVING it. Muthsarah I'm barely 100 pages into it, and I'm LOOOOOOOOOOVING it.
